Linkin.bio is the link-in-bio page that comes with Later, a social media scheduling platform; Later's pages now call it "Link in Bio". If you mainly want a bio page that shows your Shopify products, you may wonder whether you need a scheduler to get one. We make Bioshelf, a link-in-bio app for Shopify stores. It isn't launched yet: it's launching soon on the Shopify App Store. So we stick to what Later says on its own pages, checked on 26 September 2026, and say where Later may suit you better.
What Later's Linkin.bio does well
Later's bio page is built around your posts. Its link-in-bio page describes a page that looks like your Instagram feed, where each post can link to a product page or anywhere else. Later's pricing page says you can "schedule posts that automatically update your Link in Bio", and lists up to 5 links per Instagram feed post (Reels included) and 1 link per TikTok post on all three plans.
Every plan also lists:
- Unlimited buttons, a featured banner and a multi-item banner that shows several products with descriptions and prices.
- Mailchimp and email forms, custom SEO and no Later branding.
- Google Analytics, link-in-bio analytics and page views by location.
- Affiliate links through Mavely.
You can import an existing Linktree page, and the link-in-bio page offers the tool "for free".
Where it falls short for Shopify stores
It comes with a scheduler. Link in bio is included in Later's three plans: Starter at $18.75, Growth at $37.50 and Scale at $82.50 per month, billed yearly in USD. Later says annual billing saves 25%. Most of what those plans include is scheduling, analytics and, from Growth up, team approvals and a social inbox: good value if you use it, a lot to pay for just a bio page. The pricing page shows a 14-day free trial and no free plan; the link-in-bio page offers a free version without listing what it includes.
We couldn't confirm the Shopify side. Neither Later's link-in-bio page nor its pricing page mentions Shopify, and its help centre returned errors when we tried it on 26 September 2026. So we couldn't check whether products, prices or stock come from your store, or what happens when a product sells out. Ask Later before you choose.
Posts come first. Later's FAQ says that for links to show as a post on your page, "they need to be attached to an Instagram or TikTok post". That suits a feed-led brand, less so if you want your best-sellers and collections on the page whatever you posted this week.
Tracking. The pricing page lists Google Analytics and Later's own analytics, but no Meta or TikTok pixels.

Other alternatives worth a look
Shopify apps that read your catalogue, from their listings checked on 26 September 2026:
- Linktree's Shopify app has Free, Starter ($8/month), Pro ($15/month) and Premium ($35/month) plans. Its help center says you can add up to six products from your Shopify store; see our page on the Linktree Shopify product limit.
- LinkShop costs $15/month with a 7-day free trial and has a built-in storefront on the bio page.
- Vlink has a free plan with 25 synced products, then $4.99 to $29/month. It says the page "builds itself from your products, logo and brand colours", and your own store domain comes with its Pro plan.

Where Bioshelf fits
Bioshelf is a standalone Shopify app, not a scheduler.
It builds itself. Install Bioshelf and your page exists in under 30 seconds, built from your store's theme (logo, brand colours, social links), your best-sellers of the last 60 days and your collections.
It never goes stale. Products sync from Shopify by webhooks, and the page updates within seconds when stock, a price or a product changes. Sold-out products show "Sold out" and move to the end of the grid. A page shows up to 12 products and up to 4 collection cards, and product cards open the product page in your store.
You finally know what social sells. UTM parameters are added automatically to every link to your store. Meta and TikTok pixels (behind a consent banner) and clicks per product and link show what your followers do, and orders are attributed to your bio link.
You edit the page in the Shopify admin: reorder, hide or pick products and collections, add links, text and buttons, pick one of 6 themes and publish. One plan: $14/month, everything included, 7-day free trial, billed through Shopify.
When Later may suit you better

- You manage several social profiles or work with a team that approves posts.
- You want your bio page to mirror your feed, post by post.
- You need a free option or email sign-up forms on the page.
- You want more than 12 products on the page itself.
