Looking for a Linktree alternative for your Shopify store?

If you're searching for this, you probably have a Linktree in your Instagram or TikTok bio, connected your Shopify store, and saw only a handful of products. We make Bioshelf, a link-in-bio page for Shopify stores. It isn't launched yet: it's launching soon on the Shopify App Store. So this page sticks to what Linktree says on its own pages, checked on 26 September 2026, and says when Linktree may suit you better.

Check the date on older lists. Shopify's own Linktree alternatives post, dated 6 September 2024, still puts Linkpop at the top of its list. Linkpop shut down on 7 July 2025, according to Coywolf, and its App Store listing now says the app isn't available. If you're moving off Linkpop, read our Linkpop alternative guide.

And if you came from Bento: Linktree bought it and shut it down on 13 February 2026, and Bento links now redirect to Linktree, according to AlternativeTo.

What Linktree does well

Linktree is easy to start with. Its Shopify App Store listing has a Free plan with unlimited links and a customisable page, then Starter at $8/month, Pro at $15/month and Premium at $35/month, with a 7-day free trial on Pro and Premium and cheaper yearly prices.

The listing says you can "pick your colors, fonts and backgrounds or use an easy pre-designed template", schedule content with a drag-and-drop editor, get a QR code, and track clicks and revenue.

Its help center says you can add a collection or pick individual products from your store. Several reviews on its App Store review page praise the setup, from "an easy connection and fun to use" (2022) to "Worked in 1 minute" (February 2026).

And the domain is familiar. Linktree's pricing page calls the linktr.ee domain "safe, recognizable, and built for social".

Where it falls short for Shopify stores

Six products. The same help article says: "You can add up to six products from your Shopify store to your Linktree." If you sell a catalogue, followers see a small part of it. See our page on the Linktree Shopify product limit.

Your page lives on linktr.ee. A follower taps your bio, lands on linktr.ee, then taps again to reach your store. Bioshelf doesn't fix this either: its pages live at yourstore.bioshelf.co. If your own store domain matters most, look at the Shopify apps below that host the page on it.

A separate bill. The listing states: "External charges may be billed by Linktr.ee separately from your Shopify invoice."

Mixed reviews. The app has a 3.6 rating from 18 reviews. A May 2025 review describes "a perpetual loop where I need to link an account, add a store", a February 2026 one just says "not working", and a 2023 review mentions "never-loading photos" and 502 and 503 errors.

Aimed at creators. Several paid features on the pricing page are aimed at creators: digital products, an affiliate shop and Instagram auto-replies. And neither the listing nor the help article says what happens to a sold-out product on your Linktree.
