Bioshelf

Looking for a LinkShop alternative for your Shopify store?

Updated on

LinkShop is a well-reviewed link-in-bio app on the Shopify App Store. If you're searching for an alternative, you're probably comparing apps before you install one. We make Bioshelf. It isn't launched yet: it's launching soon on the Shopify App Store. So this page sticks to what LinkShop says on its own pages, checked on 26 September 2026. On several rows below, LinkShop is ahead of Bioshelf today, and we say so.

What LinkShop does well

LinkShop is made by Checkout Links. Its App Store listing shows the "Built for Shopify" badge, a 4.6 rating from 27 reviews and a launch date of 4 April 2025. There's one plan at $15/month, "Everything included!", with a 7-day free trial, and its site says it's free on development stores and has no transaction fees.

Shopify's own post 6 Link-in-Bio Tools for Instagram and TikTok, updated on 21 July 2026, puts LinkShop at the top of its list and says customers "can add products right to their cart without leaving the LinkShop page".

The page runs on your own store. Its help center says "Your LinkShop is served from your own store domain" at yourstore.com/a/linkshop (publishing your page), and you can add a shorter custom URL such as yourstore.com/bio.

Shoppers buy on the page. A product tap opens a product sheet with add to cart, and checkout opens Shopify's checkout "with the cart already filled" (how shoppers buy). When a variant is out of stock, the button reads "Sold out".

Its site lists "Unlimited products and links", multiple pages, and blocks for email collection, Judge.me reviews and Kaching bundles, and says "Products, prices, and inventory update automatically". Its analytics count page views, block views, clicks, add to carts, and orders and sales placed through the LinkShop cart, which Shopify records against the LinkShop sales channel.

Reviewers on its review page often praise the support: "Really great app and really great support!"

Where it falls short for Shopify stores

LinkShop's gaps are small, and most come down to how you want to work.

You build the page yourself. Its quickstart guide reads: "Install LinkShop, pick a theme, add your first blocks and put the link in your bio". It says this takes a few minutes. That's quick, but you choose and add the content yourself, rather than getting a page built from your store on install.

UTMs and ad pixels aren't mentioned. Its site and help center, as checked, don't mention UTM parameters or Meta and TikTok pixels. Its analytics count orders that go through its own cart. If you run Meta or TikTok ads, ask LinkShop how it handles pixels before you choose.

Customisation. Of 27 reviews, 24 are five stars. One of the few critical ones says it "needs more options to customize".

Other alternatives worth a look

Many Shopify link-in-bio apps now sync products. Three more, from their App Store listings:

If your bio is mostly links, see our Linktree alternative page. Compare more in Bioshelf vs LinkShop vs Linktree vs Beacons and all our alternative pages.

Where Bioshelf fits

It builds itself. On install, your page is built in under 30 seconds from your theme (logo, brand colours, social links), your best-sellers of the last 60 days and your collections.

It never goes stale. Products sync from Shopify by webhooks and the page updates within seconds. Sold-out products show "Sold out" and move to the end of the grid.

You finally know what social sells. UTMs are added automatically to every link to your store. Meta and TikTok pixels (behind a consent banner) and clicks per product and link show what your followers do, and orders are attributed to your bio link.

You edit the page in the Shopify admin, with 6 themes and a live preview. One plan: $14/month, everything included, with a 7-day free trial, billed through Shopify. Support replies in English or French.
